Microsoft&#039;s answer to Gates&#039;s retirement was Ballmer. And now comes the question what happens after Ballmer? So yeah you are right these companies are not built to last. 

When you pointed out Apple, Oracle, and Cisco it made me wonder what will happen to silicon valley after this generation? Considering the problems of California, is this the end of California?

		<description>Ever since Gates lost interest in running one of the greatest money making machine, instead turned his interest to giving away money, everything just falls a part.  Gates is not a level-5 leader, therefore MSFT is not built to last.  Ballmer is a fucking douchebag, but there is not good alternative.  The same goes to Apple/Jobs, Oracle/Ellison, Cisco/Chamber.  Once these leaders retire or lose interest, there will be years of mediocre performance (in Oracle&#039;s case, has been going on for a while even with Ellison)</description>
