I like how you are always considering what "the investor" is doing. We say the market is crazy and will do what it wants (and that's correct) but it's useful to personify the market like you do. It's not just numbers. It's emotions + numbers. Secretly, I'm hoping for scenario #1 up there... because all my cash is going to our real estate purchase. I won't have cash to invest again until 2009 or so, so it would be nice if the markets stayed low before then. :) Thanks for the great stuff lately.
