Phil: Investing is tough because it is timing based! I know I cringe and cringe every moment. In fact this is why I am spending so much time getting an automated trading system going. I have the strategies and the instinct, but often get deer in the headlight syndrome meaning I don't follow on my instinct.

So I will not jump into something unless I am completely sure of what I am doing. This means I miss opportunities. That's life...

PS I did not do this in response to Christian's post - I only read his post tonight.

I had decided to send the forms previously but have been holding off. I should have sent them in last week, but hindsight is 20/20.

I think the risk reward equation right now is poor, so I am going to sit on the sidelines for a few months and see what happens.

Hey Christian

I sent off my redemption forms for my mutual funds today. I cash out tomorrow.

I am hoping today will be benign day.
