What do you do with all your billions?
So what do you do with all of your billions?
If you’re Warren Buffet, you give it all away. Warren Buffet has announced that 85% of his holdings in Berkshire Hathaway will be donated to charity in the coming years. With the lion’s share going to The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

I wonder how much of this was inspired by Bill Gate’s plan to devote his time fully to charity in 2 years. Kind of a philanthropic one-upmanship.
This could be the beginning of a great trend. We now have the 2 richest people in the US (in the world?) planning to devote a majority of their time and money to charity. Hopefully other wealthy people will follow suit.
